After many years in the restaurant business, partners John Kaiser and John Smallridge put their collective expertise together and created the first Sabatinos in 2006. Having served Philadelphia style subs, french fries, salads, etc. under a national brand name franchise, they decided to develope their own menu and opened Sabatino’s Sandwich Kitchen.

Sabatinos now operates in downtown Charleston’s oldest building on Capitol Street (circa 1865). After the success of their downtown location, Jon Conrad, a friend of the Smallridge and Kaiser, opened a second location in Huntington, and has been met with a success no one thought possible.

Soon, a third Sabatino’s will be opening in Charleston! It’s about time West Virginia has its very own “extreme” sandwich joint!
